KingKanji is a shareware Japanese kanji and word flashcard system for reading and writing Japanese as well as Chinese and Korean. The most recent version of this program is available at http://www.gakusoft.com. Lessons can easily be created using a Japanese word processor or Word 2000 with the Japanese Language Pack available from Microsoft's download site. Lesson items can be composed of a single character, multi-character phrases, and sentences. The program learns which lesson items are difficult and emphasize them during Review Mode practice. What makes KingKanji unique is its writing emphasis, animated stroke display, and ability to combine multiple lessons, and high customizability.

  41. This program requires a Windows 95/NT with at least 500KBs free memory.

  45. It is not required but recommonded to remove previous versions of KingKanji from the computer. To do this, use the "Add/Remove Programs" in the computer's "Control Panel". There should be an entry for KingKanji.  Select it for removal.

  47. Run the setup.exe program and follow the installation instructions. The installation process creates an entry for KingKanji in your Start Menu.
